What Kind of Cartooning to Get Into (if what you’re doing isn’t working)

Are you a cartoonist? Is what you create not "taking off" or does it not seem to be working? In today's video, I go over a few thoughts on that and describe when it's time to maybe scrap a project and start fresh. Or, maybe you just need to tweak your comic a bit.

I know throughout my career I’ve had a lot of flops.  You know, comics that just didn’t do much of anything.  It always made me question what kind of cartooning should I do?  Am I in the right direction or am I wasting my time?

I’ve learned throughout my experience to appreciate what works — and what doesn’t.

You may have passion projects that get zero readers and it’s not a big deal to you.  Cool.

Or, you maybe have a cartoon series that you want MILLIONS of readers for and it seems to be taking off.  Thumbs up!

Either way, here’s a quick take on what I think of some of this.

BTW:  This is a very random topic with no precise answer, but my general insight.
